The present invention provides a method for flotation of potassium chloride ore, comprising carrying out an ultrasonic treatment before the flotation so as to emulsify and diffuse the flotation agent and improve the efficiency of the utilization of the flotation agent; or during the flotation so as to make the bubbles have a uniform distribution and a moderate size, increase the surface area of the bubbles and the opportunity of their contact with the potassium chloride crystal grains, so as improve the flotation effect; or both before and during the flotation so as to break the agglomerates of potassium chloride and sodium chloride, reduce the content of sodium chloride in the floated foams, and inrprove the grade of the potassium chloride product.
