摘要
The invention discloses a heavy media separation method for carnallite ores, including steps of: a) crushing, grinding and screening crude ores to obtain middlings; b) separating out NaCl from the middlings by heavy media separation in a solid phase; c) carrying out a cold-crystallization separation process or heated-dissolution and crystallization processes on the concentrated carnallite obtained by separation above, depending on different types of heavy media selected, to obtain a KCI product; and d) extracting bromine from the obtained raffinate. The invention solves problems that: a large amount of saturated MgCl2 solution discharged in the early step of dressing in the prior art is avoided; the recovery ratio of KCL is improved greatly, because the dissolution process is removed, and KCI is not dissolved in the heavy medium; and the energy consumption and water consumption in the subsequent processing steps is greatly reduced, and the discharge of brine is reduced.
