- 须配备老挝籍药师或药师助理（中级执业人员），持有卫生部认可的国内外教育机构颁发的药学专业文凭或结业证书，并具有不少于四年药学从业经验。现任公职人员须有正式任命书，且不得处于受审、擅离职守，或因药学执业过错、涉毒而受纪律处分的状态。
- 分支机构须整洁，面积不少于二十平方米，为专用房间，不得与居住场所或非药品、非医疗产品零售混用；须有清洁达标的仓储，宽四米、长八米、高度适宜。
- 须具备账务清算系统、防虫防兽系统、冷却系统，以及照明、温度和湿度监测装置，并在仓库内定期监测。
- 仓库须配备地垫、货柜、搬运工具及仓储监测器具等必要设备，并遵守良好批发规范中规定的良好储存原则。

The application will then be evaluated, reviewed, and approved by each level of local authority before transferring to the Food and Drug Department. Ultimately, the Minister of Health will be a signatory for the license.

After the Industry and Commerce sector reviewed and issued the Enterprise Registration Certificate. The Food and Drug Department will then issue a Licensing Pharmacist for the branch of the Drug and Medical Products company, which must be approved by the Ministry of Health. The products must be registered or reported by the drug and medical products import-export company (parent company).
