After that, the authorities from the Department of Skill Development and Employment, and from the provincial (Vientiane Capital) Department of Labour and Social Welfare shall conduct the inspection at the actual location.

From 1998-2014, there were a total of 11 Skill Development Centers registered (all Lao owners), including 7 public Skill Development Centers and 4 private Skill Development Centers under the management of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. From 2015 up until now, there has been no new registration of the Skill Development Center.
