The invention discloses a process for producing potassium chloride. The process comprises a crystallization step, a flotation step and a filtration step. A portion of the filtrate from the filtration step, namely Filtrate 1, is returned to the flotation step, while another portion of the filtrate, namely Filtrate 2, is returned to the crystallization step. Diflerent from the double-circulation mode in traditional crystallization and flotation processes, the filtrate of flotation unit is in self-circulation mode. In this way, the underflow from the bottom of crystallization unit is reduced, extending the residence time of carnallite in the crystallizer, promoting the growth of potassium chloride crystal particles. More than 70o/o of the potassium chloride product produced with this method has a particle size of above 0'l5mm.
