This application discloses a multi-step process of extracting bromine with alkali method, consisting of the following steps: the bromine-containing brine is processed by the procedures of acidification, oxidization, bromine extraction by air blowing-off in tum to obtain the de-brominated brine of I st step and the bromine-containing air of lst step. The bromine-containing air of lst step is absorbed by the absorption liquid to obtain the de-brominated brine of I st step and the de-brominated air of l st step. The de-brominated brine of lst step is processed by the procedures of oxidization, and air blowing-off for bromine extraction to obtain the de-brominated brine of 2nd step and the bromine-containing air of 2nd step. The bromine-containing air of 2nd step is absorbed by the absorption liquid to obtain the de-brominated brine of lst step and the de-brominated air of 2nd step. The de-brominated brine of lst step and the debrominated brine of 2nd step are distilled together by steam for bromine extraction to obtain acidic recycling liquid and frnished bromine product. The finished bromine is stored. The process of extracting bromine with alkali method hereof is capable of improving the effect of bromine extraction, while saving energy and protecting the envrronment.
