摘要

he purpose of the present invention is to provide a structural steel material: with which it is possible to reduce painting frequency even when used in an atmospheric corrosive environment, especially when used in a severe corrosive environment in which there is a large amount of airborne salt, such as at sea, in the vicinity of a coast, etc.; and that exhibits good primary rust resistance, superior paint corrosion resistance, and superior lamellar tear resistance when being employed in a large complex structure such as a bridge. The structural steel material of the present invention has a predetermined composition and has a degree of Sn segregation that is set to 20 or less.
