9 After receiving the business application or confirmation for continuation of business operation correctly and completely, the Department of Information, Culture, and Tourism must coordinate with the relevant sectors to review, consider, and issue a permit to the business owner. They must also notify the applicant of the fees and service charges within 7 working days from the date of receiving the application.

Obtaining a license for establishing and operating a hotel business is overseen by the Department of Information, Culture, and Tourism. Local Level: The Information, Culture, and Tourism Office at the district/city level is responsible for accommodation businesses with a registered capital of less than 100,000 USD, including small-scale hotels for which the state does not specify a minimum registered capital. Provincial Level: The Provincial/Capital Department of Information, Culture, and Tourism is responsible for accommodation businesses with a registered capital between 100,000 USD and less than 500,000 USD. Central Level: The Department of Tourism Business Management is responsible for reviewing, considering, approving, and issuing licenses for businesses with a registered capital of 500,000 USD and above.
