Requirements
- Farmers who cultivate rice seeds must register and have a field inspection as well as a quality inspection in a laboratory.

Additional comment
The Department of Agriculture will issue certificates only for the 1st and 2nd generation rice seeds, while for the 3rd rice seeds, the application shall be submitted to the Provincial or Vientiane Capital Department of Agriculture and Forestry.
