Foreigners who intend to stay in Lao PDR as registered investors, workers, experts, journalists, students, and partners of Lao citizens.
Requirements
- As defined in the law on immigration and foreigners' control in Lao PDR, No. 59/NA. 2.Investors who have an investment license and operate the business in accordance with the laws of Lao PDR.
- Investors shall acquire an investor visa (NI-B2) and the proposal letter from the Ministry of Planning and Investment

- The validity of the permit depends on the investment contract period of foreign investors. It can be 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months, 3 years, or 5 years
Additional comment
- In the case that foreign investors bring their families, the stay permit will define their occupation as Accompanying - The fee will be exempted for those who are under 15 years old and over 65 years old as defined in the Edict on the Fees and Service Charges, No. 003/PO, Article 35.
