Permit to Use the Radio Frequency Communication

Individuals, legal entities or organisations both domestic and foreign that wish to use radio frequency must obtain permission from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications

1. Anyone wishes to use radio frequency to conduct any business shall have an Enterprise Registration Certificate; having a secured financial position; the use is in line with the policy, strategy and National Radio Frequency Allocation Plan on radio frequency; having usage plan, development and business operation plan; ensure technical standard, and other criteria based on types of communications.

25 Consideration of the application for radio frequency operation is within twenty-five working days from the date received the application provided documents are correct, completed and met criteria as required. In the event that the documents are not correct, uncompleted an applicant shall be noticed by writing within five working days. In case of disapproval, the applicant shall be informed of the reasons by writing within five working days.

Renewal process

Users of radio frequencies can extend a license by submitting a request letter and documents within sixty days before expiring date and Complaint with conditions stipulated in the license, pay all obligations, fees and charges.

There are many types of radio frequency communication, therefore, issuing a license for each type of radio frequency communication requires different technical information.
