Must be Lao, hold Lao nationality, have a medical bachelor's degree or higher in Lao PDR or abroad recognized by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Sports, have a medical certificate. Apply at Department of Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Requirements
- Must be a Lao doctor with at least 10 years of medical experience working at a government medical facility.
- A person who has received a medical professional certificate issued by the Healthcare Professional Council, Ministry of Health of the Lao PDR.

- Renewal of the license to establish a private medical clinic requires complete documents submitted to the Department of Healthcare and Rehabilitation, the Ministry of Health, which is the management agency of the private medical clinic. Moreover, it will only be extended to those who operate in accordance with the regulations.
