The invention discloses a potassium chloride production process using carnallite as the feedstock' The process comprises a crystall izationunit and a flotation unit. Firstly, the pretreated carnallite is transported to the crystallization unit. The flotation process includes direct flotation process and reverse flotation process, which improves the yield and purity of potassium chloride products, and avoids the defect that a single direct flotation or reverse flotation process in the existing technology requiring multiple (at least three) flotation. The washing steps after flotation are reduced on the basis of maintaining high purity, simplified experimental steps, reduced energy consumption' It also avoids the defect that the washing operation reduces the size of potassium chloride crystal particles.
