Abstract
A driver of a fixed-route bus causes the fixed-route bus to travel along a preset travel route in accordance with a preset service plan. During travel, position information indicating the position of the fixed-route bus and loading/unloading information indicating the loading/unloading state are generated by a GPS device and a loading/unloading sensor provided to the fixed-route bus. The position information and loading/unloading information thus generated are collected and accumulated by a management device (40). A control unit (41) of the management device (40) displays analysis results of the service state of the fixed-route bus on a display unit (44) using a table format or a timetable format in accordance with information outputted from an operating unit (43) in response to an operation by an operator. The control unit (41) controls the display unit (44) so as to highlight locations that correspond to bus stops having long delays in the service plan of the fixed-route bus, to highlight bus stops having few loading/unloading numbers, or to display other such features.
